| Things you need to know... * You must have a Shania site, not just a Shania page. Banner exchanges work best when all of the sites are very closely related. Also, you must put the banner on a 'main' page (hiding the banner at a remote part of your site hurts the exchange). * Your banner must be a 468x60 GIF or JPEG. An image that is not precisely 468x60 will not work. Also, try to keep the image size reasonably small. Large images (above 8K) aren't good for anybody. It slows down the page where it is being viewed, but it also hurts your click-through possibilities. Nobody wants to wait for a slow banner. * Do not change the HTML code that is given. Even the slightest change could cause the code not to work (and there shouldn't be any need to change the code, anyway). * How the rotation works... Everybody gets the same amount of impressions. Note that 10% of the impressions are advertisements run by the company that hosts this banner exchange (this helps them cover the cost of providing the banner exchange). * If you have any more questions or concerns, please feel free to send an e-mail. |
